Iodine Patch Test

I have been taking 4 Iodoral tablets a day for the past three months and when I do the iodine patch test it is lasting for 8-9 hours.

Is that a normal progression, and does anyone ever reach the 24 hours.

Phyllis, did you do an initial test before you started the Iodoral? That would be your base line to make a comparison on your progression.

Everyone is unique in their body composition so it is difficult to put a time line on the iodine absorption. It took me over a year to finally build up the iodine in my system.

Remember, the iodine works. Be patient and "tune in" to how you feel. That is the best test.
